Only 12 nominees are chosen out of the entire province of Ontario, once every three years.

From 2001-2004 Robert worked full-time as Michael Buble's pianist, performing across Canada and the U.S. Last fall Michael flew Robert out to Vancouver to develop one of Robert’s own original songs. Their resulting collaboration - "Hollywood" – has since been recorded by Michael, with backing from the Grammy-Award-winning Dap Kings and legendary super-producer Bob Rock at the mixing board.

The song is being released worldwide this October on Michael’s new CD. (In addition to having written the words and music, Robert is playing the piano and singing back-up vocals on the track.)
