NewSoul/Alt R&B/hipPOP/Groove Band, from Seattle. Fronted by the luscious vocal and lyrical stylings of Raeme Miner. A tight band that blends elements of 70's Soul&Funk, Reggae, Groove Pop, and tasty guitar work. A cool backdrop for Raeme's earthy voice, adding tight, airy harmonies, and singer/songwriter sensibilities. She is a refreshing blend of Soul Diva and earthy songstress.

Band history:
Raeme and Jaimal have been writing and playing together for almost 7 yrs. They formed Soul Miner's Daughter in '99. While presently a quartet (vocals,guitar,bass, & drums), they are in the process of adding keys, hand perc, and horn(s). Their full length CD is due out late Spring '00. They opened for Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, Buddy Miles, and lots of other old heavies.
